It all depends on the people and the marriage (or lack of one)
for me:
before -- no children, lots of money to spend as I wanted, lots of options as to where to live, hot sports car, designer clothes, housekeeper, great job, lots of travel, going dancing every week-end, 115lbs, ------------ lots and lots of lonely nights.
after -- 4 children bam,bam,bam,bam, - strict budget - must consider others before spending money, must find house in good neighborhood with good and nearby schools church and shopping (for groceries and kids), mini van, clothes from Wally-World (WHAT!!!), housekeeper (ME), job? 24/7 chief cook cleaner bottle washer taxi driver (lots of travel) teacher psychologist all things to all people in house, dancing around toys clothes shoes and socks (everyday), 208lbs ----------------- no more lonely nights, lots and lots of love, 5 people who love me unconditionally.
Yep! I'll take marriage any day!
