You didn't say if she was sexually active, anal or vaginal, i assume she is. It could be hemorrhoids internal or external, anal fissures, anal prolapses, or other more serious conditions.
Check the color of the blood, Bright Red means that it is probably hemorrhoids. If it is darker, it is more serious. Does it happen randomly? Only during bowel movements? During anal intercourse? Or after?
I won't make assumptions online, i would only diagnose you if i could inspect it.
Go see a doctor.... you can get infections from fecal, blood mixture..... also YOUR RISK OF CATCHING HIV/AIDS OR OTHER STDS IS GREATLY INCREASED.
STOP THE ANAL SEX NOW AND WHEN U START AGAIN USE LOTS OF HEAVY LUBE (NOT THIN LUBE).
*BY THE WAY..... IS IT REALLY YOUR FRIEND HMMMMMMMM...........

many things can cause bleeding from the anus, some really bad, others just very painful. hemmorroids sometimes do not protrude from the anus and are up inside, an anal fissure is a small tear sometimes caused from constipation and straining and then of course cancer. a physician is the best place for her to get her answer. if she does suffer from constipation and has a tear, colace from any store without the stimulent is very helpful in healing the tear.

Obviously she should see a doctor... but if the blood is bright red and just noticed when using the restroom, and she has any itching as well, it might be hemorrhoids.
They itch, hurt, and can cause minor bright red bleeding. They can come about during pregnancy, after weight gain, from too much sitting (desk job?), and not enough fiber or fluids (constipation) causing too much straining while using the restroom.

If it's bright red blood, it might just be hemorrhoids. If so, then preparation H suppositories work great. They shrink the hemorrhoids and ease the discomfort. You can buy them at the drug store. I'd see the doctor for a check up just in case though. Best wishes.

I'm surprised she hasn't made an appointment already. It's probably just hemorrhoids but she should see a doctor as it could be something more serious.
