10) C=5/9(F-32)
C=5/9(75-32)
=5/9X43
=23.9(approx on rounding off)
11) formula is I=PTR/100
=2000X3X15/100
=$900
12)U=P/N
=2.50/40
=$0.0625
=6 cents approx.

10. 5/9 (75-32) = 5/9 (43)= 23.89=24 C

11. I=2000x0.15x3= 900

12. U= 2.50/40= 0.0625= $0.07

the google machine does conversions and evaluates mathematical expressions

go to
http://www.google.com/
and enter: 32 fahrenheit = ? celsius

...and that was a piece of cake. =)

The other two pretty much give you the answers...all you have to do is plug-in the values in the formulae.

I = PRT
same as
I = (P) * (R) * (T)
same as
I = ($2000) * (0.15) * (3 years)

U = P/N
same as
U = (P) / (N)
same as
U = ($2.50) / (40oz)

...just make sure your units are right. Do the unit conversions if necessary. Google can even evaluate these expressions if you're too lazy to pull-out your calculator.

Ask your parents, siblings, friends, or teacher for help if you still don't get it.
