love poem, who wrote it?

there is this poem i need to remember?
It is a poem written to me by an old boyfriend, he doesn't remember where he got it, he put the initials LC at the bottom. some of the lines are as follows roughly..... worth more than paper dolars and gold. Crawl like a marvelous snake to
your bed your box whatever you will keep me in.
