some dj's give them names some dont just put in mixes 2006 or other keywords to help locate it

These days, you'd probably call it a "mash-up". There are hundreds of 'em out there on the Information Superhighway, but I think the first "mash-up" was probably when some radio DJs blended Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender" with Linda Ronstadt's version of the same song (in the 70's).
