There is a condition called fibrocystic breasts - basically it means you have benign lumpy breasts. It can be painful though, you should talk to your doctor about a diagnosis and treatment. If they did a mammogram, didn't they tell you what the other possibilities were? If you didn't tell your doctor about the problem, do it now. Good luck!

If it is out of the ordinary get a 2nd opinion, just 2 b sure.
BUT something we don't ever think about is changing ur deodorant! I 2 went through the same thing.Couldn't find anything. I was told 2 change my deodorant and 2 not even wear any at home, just wash more times a day. My pain wasn't up by my arm pits...but tried it anyway. IT WORKED! Something w/ the antiperspirant, not the deodorant, that clogs up and was blocking or irritating me inside(nothing was visible on the outside). When u do buy more- deodorant should b used-not antiperspirant. I agree antiperspirant WORKS better(stops the sweat more) but at what price. Now I didn't fiND fast relief. It took a couple weeks -so in that time u can make an apt with a 2nd Dr just 2 make SURE it's not something serious. I pray this helps u like it helped me,cuz it was very painful!
Good luck,sweetie :)

Sounds like fibrocystic breasts. Was that the diagnosis from the mammogram? Some things could help. Don't drink coffee or sodas containing caffeine. Also try some vitamins and herbal supplements: evening primrose oil, kelp or iodine tablets, black cohosh, decaffeinated green tea, lots of vitamin C.

They could be non cancerous cysts. they are not a real health concern unles they are not static. talk to your doctor and ask them to palpate for them. There are tests other than mamograms.
