Oh God, proactive made my niece's skin burn and break out worse.. she sent the stuff back!
First of all, think heat.. apply hot washcloths, as often as you can.
Also, steam is great.. get the hot water going so hot, it is steaming, cover your head with a towel, and put your face into the steam.
For your shoulders and neck, get some witch hazel, at any drug
store, it's cheap and the best.
Don't forget to take a hot shower.. just stand in there and let the steam do it's magic!
Last but not least... buy Noxzema skin cream, wash with it, even on your shoulders and back of your neck.
Wash with it everyday. Then use the witch hazel, which will tighten your pores.
I also use to sleep with Noxzema, on my face, all night, and to this day, I have never stopped. These things REALLY did the trick for me! Try them, they will NOT hurt or irritate your skin, and in a few weeks, you will be amazed.
Sometimes the simplest things are the things we overlook!
You are going to look great..Enjoy your new terrific skin! ( keep it a secret!)

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

For breakouts on my face I make sure that I wash my face everyday, even if it's just a scrub with a wet washcloth. I use Oil of Olay face wash with witch hazel, it works really well for me. I also drink a lot of water, which has the added benefit of helping me maintain my weight properly. Breakouts on my body are prevented by making sure I shower everyday, or as close to that as possible considering I'm in the military and we like to go camping, lol! Use a clean rinsing body wash to keep your skin on your body clear, and the rule about consuming a lot of water works, too.

I been using Proactive for about 3 months now, and I've seen good results. The only bad thing about it, is that you have to be on top of it, in sense of putting it EVERYDAY without missing one day! But overall, 4 stars...I would recommend it anyone.
