I am 5 days off from my next period; my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant (with our first child) for 5 months. I have been feeling sick on and off everyday for the last 4 days, including nausea (not vomiting), dizziness, headaches, slight cramping in my lower abdomen and even a slight ear ache (which I have only had today). I am prone to ear aches fairly frequently but I hardly ever get headaches or dizziness and never really felt nauseous before. I took a home pregnancy test but it came up negative. Could I be pregnant or do you think it's just a middle middle ear thing?

Really difficult to be certain! A quick visit to your OB/GYN will answer any questions you may have....urine pregnancy tests rarely detect hcg levels accurately. Have a serum pregnancy or quantitative hcg level drawn and you will be accurately informed. Good Luck!!!

All of those symptoms could be pregnancy, but not this early. Your hormones aren't great enough yet to make you sick, nor can pregnancy be detected from an OTC preg test yet either. If you have issues with your middle ear and you know this is something you feel when you have a problem with that, go see your doctor before it gets worse. Your doc can also do a blood pregnancy test which is much more accurate and can be detected sooner than an OTC preg test.
GOOD LUCK.

Although you have tried the home pregnancy test and its negative, it is always best to buy 2 at a time. Sometimes these tests may be incorrect. I think the best way to find out is to ask a doctor.
Usually pregnant ladies actually do vomit a little and not just stomach ache those. I hope you do get a baby tho ;) best wishes

Five days prior to your next period is too soon for some pregnancy tests to measure the hormone levels. You need to get a pregnancy test rated for early detection. EPT and ClearBlue Easy have some really good digital ones that tell you in simple words, PREGNANT, NOT PREGNANT.
Best of luck.

it is still early to tell if you are preggo or not, it could be an inner ear infection which causes vertigo, the dizzyness, neusea and the headaches. Do you feel this way sitting standing or laying down, if all 3 then i would say preggo, if these symptoms happen from laying to sitting/standing or sitting to standing then its inner ear.

wait till you miss your period and then take a preg test and if it negative and you still didnt get your period than go and make an appointment with the clinic and do a blood test.
