I just broke up with my boyfriend yesterday. it was mutual, but we've been together for so long, it's so hard for me to beleive I can really move on emotionally, when I know rationally, I can. i'm scared I won't find someone again and I don't know what to do to get my mind off of him and the situations. Any ideas?.

Breaking up is so hard for everyone... But if the relationship is over, what is the sense of being together..This will make you strong and a better person.

I've been with my ex bf for 5 years, I thought when we broke up, it will be hard for me to forget him.. I was wrong..because I found the guy who is my husband now who makes me more happy than before..

Dont be scared.. Just make yourself busy and preoccupied..Have time for yourself...Love will still find you when you least unexpected...Its not bad to be alone sometimes after all the things happened....

Everything has a reason..a purpose..and nobody knows that..

It's hard but it's just matter of time you will forget him but there will be a lot of things that will remind you of him.Try 2 be strong and don't show that you are weak. Go out talk 2 different people try 2 distract yourself from thinking of that because then you won't be able 2 forget him.

Think hard aboutthe reasons you broke up. Focus on those, and get out and start hanging with friends. Keep your mind off the good times, you can think about that later, when you are over it. Just remember, there is a reason you broke up, so "forget" the rest.

Your break up is SOOOOOO fresh.
Give yourself a break-you are adjusting.
Do some things you like to do that you haven't done in a long time. Stop playing mind games with yourself-this is a time to heal and be still, not fester about future relationshiping. Whatever you do-DON'T call him. It will only prolong the misery and keep re-opening the wound.

Find your favorite DVD/VCD and play it several times. This will cause your brain to focus on the video and not on your boyfriend anymore. The next week, find a different video and keep playing it. Keep doing this method and you will soon forget about him.

About the "i wont find someone again" part, try to go more in pubs, i heard that alot of men are starting to go into pubs more often

The best thing is to keep urself fully occupied in wrk, gg out wif ur frens. Y dun go for a holiday wif a few frends first, and wen *** bk start afresh. I noe it's hard. But there is 1 thing i always belif in, tat is "time will heal the pain". The toughest is the initial part, i believe frends placed an important part now. So look for em, and tell em u will reali nd them by ur side to face along wif wat u are in now.
