All depends on your education. You don't know what you don´t know until someone tells you.
Stocks and real estate can be very profitable for you if you know what you're doing. You just need to learn.

There are many avenues of investment like Gold, Silver, Shares, Real Estate, Jewellery, Insurance, Fixed Deposits, Bonds etc.
But, for best returns, shares are the best.
