I like your idea about the blue power shirt -- thats a very techy color shirt -- only problem is which tie?

Look the part... That was the best interview advice I ever received, and it came from ... AN ACTRESS! People make generalizations based on how you look and if you want a job you need to look the part of someone in that field when you interview. Interviewers want to know if the person they interview will be a good fit for the company and looking the part will make the impression you want to make. Make sure not to go too much with the look, because it will distract the interviewer from you. It wouldn't hurt given that you're going for a corporate/creative web job to nerd yourself up slightly, and show a little of your creativity in how you look, as long as you keep it simple. If you look too unique, the interviewer will think that you're too different and not a good fit. If all else fails you should wear the blue powershirt... you know the solid blue shirt just about every man in the business world wears. It wouldn't hurt to go to men's warehouse... they have very knowledgable sales reps and they can get you looking good and feeling confident. Black probably won't cut it, so you should invest in your wardrobe... it'll be worth every penny.

Depends on what colors look good on you. I've heard you don't want to wear red because it's a power color & can sometimes put people off. A good color is blue(dark or a not disco looking light blue) , but only if it looks good on you. It also depends on what color pants you'll be wearing. Are you wearing a suit or separates? What about shoes? It all has to co-ordinate.

The ideas you mentioned are not bad but if you are going to interview for a executive post the be executive and wear excutive dress and look like executives. You can also follow the dress code of the company where you are to appear for interview. good luck.

it may extremely count on what colour healthful you positioned on. Why not bypass to a job recruiter (organization) and enable them to interview you and then ask for truthful comments on your resume, the form you carried out your self, and how lots cloth wardrobe works superb for interviewing. you're able to finally end up with a sparkling interest lead not published interior the papers and a few effective and truthful suggestion on extra suitable than in simple terms what colour tie to positioned on. good success on the interview. the superb element you are able to positioned on is a grin.

No red. It's best to wear navy blue or black to job interviews. Or at least wear something toned down. Good luck!!!!!

Your tie should have red in it . All red would be too powerful. Red shows that you have confidence and power. Good luck!
