In my opinion, people all around the world are losing their cultural identity at some level due to globalisation.

the world's becoming a smaller place and cultures and traditions are merging, You can't really call this a cultural crisis but a boon as it increases diversity, friendliness among nationals of different countries and gives a rise to business as well......

However, deep within our hearts we should always remember who we were and are....and continue our culture in any form possible to pass it on to our coming generations !

do you mean like when cigarette smokers were allowed to light up anywhere, anytime, because smoking isn't illegal?
or like dogs barking constantly because their owners couldn't care less?
or hoons in loud cars at two in the morning?
sometimes "cultural identity" is simply an excuse for inconsiderate behaviour.

I think that if people did not recognize there heritage, and honor it they should be ashamned of themselfs.I honor my people.with memorys of my parents and grandfathers and grandmothers telling me storys of there people.my uncle started a family geniological association to study our ancesters.and find out where we came from.gave all the research to the library of congress.people should take pride in themselfs no matter who they are.
