I think Joanie and Rosie are both cute (although I'm sure you've already thought of those) but a nickname doesn't have to come from her actual name. For example, my favourite book as a child was called Milly Molly Mandy - my Mum used to call me Milly (just to get a smile out of me) and my name doesn't even come close to anything like Milly. My Mum still calls me Milly sometimes, and it still makes me smile :)

What does the "A" stand for? One of my best friends is named Teresa Rose, and we call her T-Rose. You could call your daughter J-Rose...though if you slur it too much it might sound like J-Lo...

Joy, AJ or Joey...I would stick with something that begins with J if you don't go with AJ. Good Luck!
