Well I certainly didn't choose to be born. My parents made that decision. However, as the years pass and I grow older, I choose to make a life for myself, and in turn create it. Others may choose to live day by day, hoping that life will embrace them, but does it really? In rare cases, yes, but in most cases, life doesn't find you. You find it.

Good question, when I recently almost died, and woke up on life support, I wondered the same question. When I was dying, I choose life and was begging to live, pain and all. However, when I awoke from my coma, I was peaceful, except for the stuff down my throat, I thought for a brief moment, go back to sleep, and die, or fight it and live. Well it's obvious what I did. It was not easy. I wonder why now though because now that I'm back everything is gone. My children have left, my home is gone, my husband is away, and I'm on my own. I learned I almost died many times, I had many blood tranfusions and for some strange reason I lived. Homeless, kidless. alone. I still love the Lord though. I don't know if I choose life or if life choose me. To be continued.......

I choose and rule my life. No bosses to report to. No customers to meet. No missed transport. No rushing to work because I work from home in shorts and T-shirts and sometimes topless. I strive to create a new page for my websites everyday but I have all the freedom I need and making money 24/7 on the internet with Google Adsense and some affiliate programs. The only thing that tie me down is 'how much income I want or need'. Because the more websites and traffic I have will determine how much income I can much.
Anyone who can create websites or blogs to provide lots of good information can make money from Google Adsense. Blogger.com and Google pages lets you create blogs for free and allows you to make money too.

For me I do believe life chose me but I did also choose it based on life going on around me. I mean I'm in college studying medical assistant. I never thought I wanted to be a medical assistant but in the words of Morgan freeman from the movie Bruce Almighty "Since when do people know what they really want? We tend to forget God is still in control. He gave us free-will, and the power. If it wasn't for him we would be depressed, and miserable but then again "We know what we want remember?" oh and I'm a caregiver for my mother and the reason I chose to do that is because I never felt a peace with her out her on her own with her disabilities.

YOU CHOOSE LIFE. YOU CALL THE SHOTS. YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOURSELF. YOU CHOOSE LIFE.
saying that life chooses you is only what someone would say if he or she does not want to be responsible for the choices he or she made in life.

Is life and you actually seperate and distinct?
Or is it thought to be that way?
Your question implies a division, 'You' and Life?
Is that a fact?
What are 'You' distinct from life?
If you live totally in your mind as most do, then you are rarely in the present moment, where you r body is and where life is.
Living this way, consumed by our thoughts on this or that we miss the living present.
