Some things to consider: 1. Is this her first year on her period? 2. How old is she? 3. what type of diet?
If the diet is nutritionally unsound or she is on some medications, then her cycle will be affected. If she is anorexic, her cycle will definitely be affected. So can over exercising (e.g. ironman type regimen) If she is young, then in her first year, she could miss. Also, someone near menopause could also miss. If she is not pregnant, then she needs to go to the doctor and find the cause. In the meantime, she may need to adjust her diet to be more nutritionally sound.

3) She could be chronically dehydrated.
4) She could be on depo shots and you may not know it.
5) She could have major GYN complications...go get an exam pronto
