Tampons don't stretch you out the vagina is large enough for tampons to be inserted so there is not much stretching, and any stretching from penetration of any sort is not permanent as the vagina returns to it’s normal shape and size.
The vagina naturally lengthens when aroused and becomes flexible to allow for penetration of larger things such as penises – there are a few reasons why sex hurts; the hymen breaking [not always painful and tampons can break the hymen, as can other things], not being physically ready [not being aroused enough for the vagina to lengthen and produce lubrication ready for penetration], not being emotionally ready [being nervous prevents a woman from relaxing enough for penetration].
The idea that sex hurts the first time is PURE MYTH - sex the first time can hurt if your hymen is still in tact, if not ready for penetration, if not ready for sex or if there is a health reason – sex should be a pleasurable experience.

Tampons dont permanently stretch your vagina, just while there in there than it goes back to normal when it out. Just like a penis does however a tampon is much smaller. If you want to start using tampons use the mini one's during the day and still wear a pad at night. If your talking about using a tampon so it will stretch your vagina for sex well it doesnt work like that. When you eventually have sex it will depend on how tense you are to whether it will hurt or not.

NO, that isnt true. I ain't never heard that, a vagina doesn't "stretch"... lol. But when you have sex for the first time, the penetration breaks the hymen. In other words you inserting a tampon isn't going to make you lose your virginity or stretch it either. The tampon just blocks the canal, the rest of it can't be touched until you actually have sex...

I dont think so, its too small to be compared to a penis. You can just have a feel that how can the peneteration feel.As far as hurting is concerned if you are mentally prepared for IT, it will be a pleasure than a painfull experience

haha i LOVE awkward questions just dying for awkward answers. the first time i used a tampon i was like OMGGGG IM NEVER HAVING SEX EVER. i think it would be a good idea to do the tampon thing b/4 the penis thing b/c like the tampon doesnt get offended when you curse its godforsaken name and throw it out.

No tampons don't do that!!! The reason why they are better then pads is cuz you could kinda forget you are on your period. Don't believe something that sounds stupid or crazy!!! Regardless of what you do, it's gonna hurt the first time.!!!!

no...although it's true they do expand...they don't expand to make a difference as in terms of stretching. it is going to hurt your first time either way. as long as you have someone who loves you and is patient, he will take it easy and go slow...but even then it will hurt some. not as bad as you think though. its a good kind of pain if you are doing it willingly

No, only use tampons for your period and alternate between tampons and pads. It decreases the possibility of toxic syndrome...
