sonic adventure 2 ending?

Question

my disk is mess up, i stop playing ina long time now i start playing and i'm on the final round after you play tail then eggman, but after that when it's suppose to go to a nest place it just show me black screen, only one time it let me pass, and rough is the next one, worse when i go to stage select they won't let me play any stage on shadow, i don't want to buy another copy, can someone that finished the game tell me what the end is, did they save earth......did shadow team up, did sonic or shadow get kill is it true they get to turn in to super sonic and hyper shadow? please tell me the end of the story ^_^ thanks

they use the chaos emeralds go into there super form. after defeating biolizard shadow and sonic use the emerald to keep the ark from falling to earth. while doing so shadow loses his super form and falls to earth. you get the impression he dies. but they'll explain that in sonic heroes

Basically, both Sonic and Shadow turn super (yes, super, not hyper. There is no such thing as Hyper Shadow), and they save the world, but Shadow seemingly runs out of power and falls to the Earth.
In the next game (Sonic Heroes), we find out that he survived, but then he starts doubting if he's real or not, because Eggman also made Shadow Androids.
And in game after THAT, it's revealed that Shadow IS real, and in that game, he also completely finds out about his past, and finally leaves his past behind.
But for the new Sonic game for PS3 and Xbox360, Shadow's memory is a little screwy again because of Mephiles, an evil hedgehog that was infused with Shadow 50 years ago, and Shadow travels to the future.

sonic heroes dooesnt really have shadow......the game Shadow The Hedgehog has the real shadow......but he suffers from amnesia and tries to find who he really is...
