I am in a marching band so I have a lot of time sitting on busses to go to our compitions, I have sat with this girl the last few times because she asked me to. both times she fell asleep on my shoulder and the second time I put my arm around her and she didn't have any objections. Also when ever I see her at school she will kind of hit me on the shoulder and. It seems to me that she likes me but I'm not shure.

How well do you know this girl? If you don't know her very well, she might like you. If you have known her for years, she may just be comfortable with you and doesn't mind some friendly affection.
The only way to know for sure is to ask her. Don't ask her when her friends are around though because some girls look to their freinds for approval. If her friends don't like you, you will likely be out of the picture.

Keep doing what you do. Try playng with her hair or something like that to see if she has any objections to you being close to her. If you develop feelings for her then ask her out. Im sure she likes you. Dont mess it up.

i love band love...well i think she does like you, but you kinda have to bring it up and just say hey i like you do you like me back? and lucky you, for band trips, our band director would never let a guy and a girl sit together..."no purple" gahhhhh

Sounds to me that she is comfortable enough with you that you can just ask her. Why not tell her that you enjoy her company, first?

Man...honest advice.......forget this assumption crap and the torture of uncertainity.............and go ahead and ask her. I know, it may not be that easy, but trust me, onc you are done, you will feel alot better.
