as far as my husband and i, we know everything would still be exactly the same without the 'piece of paper'.

you just have to be a team instead of two individuals, people just aren't willing to compromise and let themselves go.. women need to understand that men are visual, they like to look at other women, it doesn't have to mean anything, its just something they do.. before people get married they need to ask themselves "is this a good business move?" (over 50% of all divorces happen because of money and finances).. don't have a marriage that is about sex, it doesn't last forever, appearances change attitudes change and feelings change..

i could go on for days about the mistakes people make but i'll just leave it at that.

I'm engaged and if marriage is the alarm clock! Then I agree I love waking up in the arms of my future husband!!! For some people marriage is validation for the love they have for a person and that can be a good or bad thing depending on why you need the validation!!!!!

Marriage is the alarm clock that wakes you up to the reality of being in the arms of the one that you love. I'll take the reality of marriage anyday over the myth of love's dreams!

People think love is the only thing which they need to be happy.
Marriage is worse then alarm clock, is like a hammer which knock your head to find out how stupid you are being in this situation, or... marriage is like a prison......or you even think to kill your wife to get freedom.
Some people got extremely lucky and got the right person for life.
God Bless You

Marriage should be banned. Would save a lot of trouble. This isn't the olden days where women need men.

oh how true, my first wife tried to change me into what she wanted me to be, i fought it for 13 years, she gave up trying and found someone else.

my second wife and i have been together for 21 years, married for 10 and all is well.

the moral of the story; take time discovering each other before marriage. good luck and wishing you rainbows and sunny skies.

I've been married for 17 years and I love my wife with the same crazy, passionate love I had for her when I first met her. Just looking at her makes me want to cry with joy sometimes.
