So im joining the air national gaurd soon, and ill be leaving for basic soon. My boyfriend told me the other day that he wanted to take a break when i left. My first reaction was that he didnt want to be with me anymore. Im only going to be gone for a little more than six months but not more than a year, and after basic he will be able to come visit me and write me. What does this mean and what should i do???? He said he wanted to get singleness out of his system . . . I dont know . . . I believe that he wants to take a break so he can sleep with other people without feeling guitly . . . He wants me to make a desicion, what should i do?

He obviously wants to be free to explore other relationships with other women. Be thankful that he is telling you this instead of cheating on you. Take it for what it is. In my opinion, it's best that you talk to him about how you feel about this before you go. It is understandable that you might feel bad about this especially if you have been with him for a long time.Remember, let him go if he comes back ,it was meant to be, if he doesn't it was not. Who knows, maybe the time that he is going to be away from you will make him appreciate you more.Perhaps you'll meet someone special while you are away. you said it yourself he wanna have relations without the ship. take it from a MAN i been there done that. a guy will be a guy, you must be a younger age female to be going to the service so you go head and stay on track with your future and leave his *** behind and let him make babies and catch scabies while you make somthin of yourself.
