to tell my ex husbands girlfriend to back off without starting a war?
She is all over my daughter and treats her like her own, I should be happy they get a long and that she loves my little girl but she doesn't know when to back off. Especially when I am around. How can I approach her without her and my ex getting all upset. I am trying to keep it peaceful.

She's evidentlly trying to win your daughter over, to get to your X.
Let your X know that you dont appreciate his girlfriend using your daughter as a pawn. And insist that he talk to his girlfriend, before YOU do.

Tell her and your ex that you really are happy that she loves your daughter and treats her well. You would love that to continue when she is with them. Then ask that she please take a little step back when your around and be like a aunt or good friend.

I think she will get the point.

i guess you first need to ask yourself is it really worth it? I am does it bother your daughter or is it just you? if however their is a basis behind your actions, then you need to have a sit down with them both and explain what you are feeling in a nice way, if they are as mature as you then things should be fine, but if it is unnecessary to start something then leave it be, things will work out on its own

YOU don't. What you do is discuss the matter with your ex husband he is the child's father and he is this woman's boyfriend. HE should have the balls to tell her to back off.
