North Korea does not have the capability of launching a long range nuclear weapon. As per information available it has enough material to make 8 small bombs. It doesn't have a long range missile that can take the weapon any where near America.
It cannot contemplate on striking first because it depends on external aid even to feed its people. The people of NK should be educated on this development and they should take steps to restrain any such ideas of their government.
There are going to be sanctions...the people will get affected.
Most importantly US should not do the policeman's job and allow UN to take the lead and perform the role it is designated to perform. UN should be authorised by the world to take decisions aand action.

If NK does anything like that involving Weapons of Mass destruction they will see there lasts days on earth. I have a feeling that war VS NK will be approaching fast. I do see NK getting one or two nukes off probably targeted at SK but we never know. I just hope that if NK fires or drops one Nuke at anyone that the U.S or some other Nation
Drops like 5-20 on NK. I know there are good people in NK but good people or not its a fight for survival once nukes come into play.

One out of three, does not mean "gone nuclear" , Science is for everyone not just Terrorist countries. Enriched uranium is a product of the 21st century. It should not be used by the criminally insane, or countries that promote, or use terrorism as a catch all for their short comings. I feel that those countries that have broken the Nuke Trade Agreement should have their use of nuclear enrichment removed until they can prove beyond a shadow of doubt what they are enriching it for. Weapon Inspectors can find violators, if all is fair and equal no one could build a nuclear warhead with out inspectors knowledge. If all were fair, there would be no need either!

You better think twice before you start your preemptive strike, north korea has whole cities deep underground, and theUS has not the foggiest idea where they are, north korea is not a gag tag army like Iraq, we could not whip them 50 years ago, what makes you think you can do so now
