Do not ever forget that in the Korean War Chinese fought against Americans. It is a marriage of convenience created by Dr.Kissinger and Pres.Nixon just to take them away from the Soviet Union[Now Russia]They industrialized them and now the point is reached that most of the manufacturing industries in America or Europe cannot compete with China. In this deal only handful people in America and China are making lots of money. But this deal is bound to fail one day soon. And if China is a Dog N.Korea is its Puppy.Very simple No beans about it.

China is the main supply of food, goods, etc,, to N. Korea,, ,,, upset with N. Korea for testing a nuclear bomb,, the UN is in meetings,, to apply sanctions against Pyongyang, but talks are necessary,, face to face talks,, which Bush will not agree to,, so basically the US is in a box at this time,, we have a very narrow window in which to have N. Korea, and Kim Jong Il agreeable to play by the rules of the nuclear club.the US Ambassador Chris Hill will most likely go the talk with Kin Jong Il,,,, Mr. Hill has been in negations with him before

Hypothetically.... the result may be a ways diverse than maximum could think of. evaluate this: the US and China face off and at as quickly as comprehend that by way of obtrusive militia realities referred to in numerous solutions already given, nuclear isn't an selection.....China then "disarms" North Korea in generic China form and helps the disagreement to proceed in exaggerated international point trend with extremely some saber damn on the two sides. financial effects devolve to spotlight the eventual sparkling actuality that the US does not purely proceed to exist, it may income long term from the fiasco.

China is merely waiting for the right time to oppose us. They have already practiced "pulse" technology on our satellites. The greatest confrontation we shall face shall be when China feels it has the advantage. They once were decades behind us technolgically until the previuos administration both sold and allowed espionage of that advantage.

They side with us somewhat on the No Korean issue only because it is to their benefit momentarily. The No Korean problem may turn out to be a brush fire compared to the confligration there shall be with communist China when the time is right.

I believe, no. Our allies over there are Taiwan, Japan, and S. Korea. We have in fact told China that they need to keep their little mutt (N. Korea) on a leash. Looks like the dog is out of the yard. Maybe a little poisoned hamburger will do the trick.

Yes and No.

Yes economically because they are one of our biggest trading partners. The US and China mutually invest billions of dollars and wons (Chinese currency) in each others economies. Most large US companies have operations in China and visa-versa.

No on the political and military side. China is a super power like the U.S. Because of this rivalry, both countries seem to be trying to influence other countries and regions.

The US and China are very dependent on each other. I wouldn't go so far as to call the two countries allies, but they are certainly not enemies. China would not be involved militarily against North Korea.

We are closer to China than most people think. On the Korea issue we are both on the same page as far as the results but they have a different means to get those results.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't think for one minute their our allies. When the time is right, they will try to rule the world. Look up China's growing military on the net. The steel prices are high because their military ship yards have been running 24/7 for years. Indicators of this fact go on and on.

The chinese are somewhat friendly with North Korea. But then the Chinese would lose a staggering amount of western investments and support if they moved against the Western powers or actively supported North Korea.

They're in a pretty precarious position.
