okay my son got a rock from my neighbors yard and threw it and hit my other neighbors window. I have been told that the yard where the rock came from, they are responsible for the damages done by the rock, i don't know if I believe that.. does anyone know the law about it, give me a website to check it out if possible please....

Your son is the actor (the one responsible) the rock is an inanimate object and cannot be charged. Depending on his age (is he a minor?) you will be responsible for damages. I know this because my boyfriend is a cop and he is sitting right here. Sorry but until they grow up and move out we are responsible for any damage they cause. Peace to you.
