click on the boy. then under that click edit my info. on the right side you will see teh avatar. click under it on edit my avatar. go in there and make any changes you want. just be sure to click SAVE CHANGES when you are done

You need to edit it in your email account by deleting your old one or picking the option not to use an avatar in your email. Then make a new avatar and make sure you select female.

click on to your profile in answers and questions and click on to the avatar thingy there,theres a prompt to change the gender of your avatar
