How were those NOT the good old days? Our economy crashed after Bush took over. I had a hell of a time getting a job in my field after college because there weren't any. Because someone (not a democrat) thought it was a good idea to bringing in cheap techies from India on temporary green cards, wtf?!?

Well Tammy, since I worked my way through college and graduate school earning BS, MPA & MBA degrees I am certain that I am well educated.
And based on your inability to the word politican correctly and that you used the word "wether" which mean "castrated sheep or goat" I wonder if you are not only uneducated but perhaps even an imbred Democrat.
And if you want talk about the price of gas. When I was in high school (1971) it was 24 cents a gallon under Nixion (R). When I was an army officer and Carter (D) became president
it hits 45 cents a gallon. While still cheap compared to today, it represented an increase of 87.5% and we had lines and the gas stations and stations running out of gas.
Exactly what is you source that proves Clinton erased the national deficit. For your imbred Democratic, liberal and uneducated
friends the national deficit is all the previously incurred annual deficits which then equal the national debt; the total outstanding debt of the central government. Clinton NEVER erased the national deficit. I grant you he reduced it significantly (increased taxes played a part in that accomplishment) plus the deficit numbers DID NOT include medicare and social
security...costs which would have negated much if not all of his reductions.
So again...cite your sources or at least learn what constitutes factors that contribute to the national deficit and debt.

No, I don't.
The rich of this country were the primary driver behind erasing the deficit with their overwhelming increases in taxes paid to the irresponsible Feds (Congress) who was unable to spend the skyrocketing revenues faster than they were being received.
Amazing what the high tech boom did for politicians who had absolutely nothing to do with it, or the economy for that matter. The economy runs itself and just needs government to stay out of its way.
You don't even know how uninformed you are and should be embarrassed at your inability to grasp simple facts. Presidents really have very very little to do with erasing deficits or having the economy do well, unless they promote the cutting of taxes to generate growth and greater tax revenues (as is the case since 2004 following those so-called "devastating tax cuts for the rich"). Tax revenues are going through the roof. Unfortunately, so is Congressional spending, just as it has for the last 10 years
The rich pay the taxes Dems. The top 1% pay 37% of personal federal income taxes. Next time you see some wealthy Americans, you should thank them for paying most of the country's bills and saving you money. Strangle the goose that lays the golden eggs and all will suffer. Thickheaded Dems will never get it.
Your lack of knowledge is not even amusing, it is sad.

I'm damn sure not uneducated and not inbred. I will vote for whoever is the best candidate whether Democrat or Republican. We are fighting now because of what Clinton ignored! If he'd had his head into running the government instead of in Monica's mouth we could have avoided 9/11. That's partly why the gas prices are so high now. The good old days, yeah right, that's why he was impeached right? Rethink your logic.

Yes, but it was easy for Clinton back then. After all, he had the whole Internet thing going for him. And other countries didn't hate him. And he wasn't an imbecile. And he had advisers who weren't power-hungry lunatics bent on global domination. So who couldn't thrive under those conditions?
Sure, Bush could have taken the easy way out and had a booming economy, honest international relations, and intelligence; but that'd be like playing Civ III on the Chieftain setting. Sure, he could win, but he wanted to do it with a little style. And while history will likely be a tad harsh towards Bush, they will have to admit that he did it HIS way...well, except when he was blindly following the advice of his lunatic advisers who were totally screwing with his head.
But again, that's just the Bush Way. After all, why take the easy way out when you can screw everything up and have everyone hate you? You know what I mean? Bush: He may not have been right, but he'll be remembered.

If you actually remember what happened, it was the republican held house and senate who gave him the budgets that erased the deficit. Once more a democrat taking credit for the work of others. I guess since Clinton signed the budgets, he gets all the credit.

Hell no. The problem with the Republicans right now is that they are spending like Democrats. The solutions isn't to dump them for real Democrats. It's time to put some Libertarians in office.

I ALWAYS vote Democratic!
The other day I heard Clinton speaking on the radio - I thought such smart articulate man! I was instantly calm remembering the "good old days" of booming business, peace, leadership, and kindness to the World.
He will go down in history as one of the greatest presidents ever - no matter how hard the far right tries to tarnish him. History will show how our country triumphed under his guidance, and suffered greatly under "W".
Thanks for the warm fuzzys!
