Semen itself without SPERM, WILL NOT CAUSE pregnancy. But the sperm cells swimming on semen when it reaches the egg cell causes pregnancy!

Semen is the leading cause of pregnancy, and as it turns out the only one.

Yes, semen is the one and only thing that does cause pregnancy actually. Semen carries sperm which fertilize a woman's egg. Pregnancy is dependent on if the egg is ready and the sperm gets to it and fertilizes it.

Well, that's kind of the whole point of semen, don't you know?
The man ejaculates and semen is the liquid which carries the sperm. The sperm travels through the woman's vaginal canal, up the cervix and into the uterus seeking an egg.
Without the semen the sperm would have no way to er, travel!

When men ejaculate, they ejaculate semen. Inside the semen are sperm, unless the man's had a vasectomy. A single sperm joins with an egg in your body and that's what makes a baby. Semen, even full of sperm, outside your body or anywhere other than in your vagina won't make you pregnant (so you can't get pregnant from oral or anal sex). Hope that helps.

with semen no, but there is sperm in semen, so yes you can get pregnant. Especially if there has been penetration and the egg is fertilized. You can't really tell if the egg has been fertilized though a week or so after the womans menstrual.

Sperm is what gets you pregnant, not semen. Since sperm live in semen it is likely that it can, but if there are no sperm in it then no it won't. Semen+Sperm=Pregnancy and Semen-Sperm= Not Pregnant, is that a good enough explanation? Good luck!
