It is Called... "Thirty days Hath September".

30 days hath September,
April, June, and November;
February has 28 alone,
excepting leap year...
that's the time,
when February's days are twenty-nine.

Thirty days hath September, April, June and November. All the rest have thirty one save February which has twenty eight 'til Leap Year comes to give it twenty-nine.

I don't have a clue who wrote it or whether it even has a title. It is just a mnemonic like ROY G BIV to remember the colors of the spectrum red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. If you want to remember the order in reverse the name is VIB GYOR.

Are you talking about "Thirty Days Hath September?"
It goes:
Thirty days hath Septermber,
April, June, and November.
All the rest have thirty-one,
Except February

I think it is just a rhyme so that kids can learn about the months.

I always liked the one that went:

Thirty days hath September,
All the rest I can't remember.
