I thought so...especially with the overly short denim skirts.

Sometimes I wonder if I should try the skirt and leggings thing. I'm not sure if I could pull it off though. I have some obscenely short skirts that I've never been able to wear though, and leggings underneath would probably help.

Leggings are the in trend for fall and adding a skirt has to be done with proportion in mind. Short straight skirts look great with a platform loafer or a flat ballerina show.

It is on the East coast. And I think with young slender girls it looks really cute with extra short skirts. It is suppossed to be the in thing for fall. I am sure it will carry into the winter as well--as it is certainly practical as well.

It is all part of the layering thing--which is very in.

NO! Let me tell you why...
Everytime I happen across this skirt w/ leggings combo, it is usually on a trashy chick. I've also noticed that it's a popular trend for heavier girls. For them, it works a little better because they get to wear something like a short skirt w/out being revealing. But, seriously, any other time I see it, I ask myself "WHY??"

I can't say I'm a personal fan of it, but obviously you wouldn't be stared at for wearing it. It's very much in style now.

Sorry, but I hate it. I think that is should have stayed in the 80's and early 90's where it belonged.
