I highly suspect that it is a scam. People are always spamming this board with it. I wouldn't buy into it.

It is not a scam. There are several businesses that will pay to have access to building a customer list, as they know that once you have some kind of relationship with you, their numbers show them they will make money on every person across the board. Cashcrate pays less to you than they make, so they are still making money and generating crazy traffic, which allows them to make ad revenue, etc.

A lot of the items are probably for things you either already use or don't really need. Yes, you can probably make some money. I'm not sure of other sites like it, but you might try an advanced search on yahoo or google and do a similar search.

If you have the time and energy required to make ANY money from any of these so called "opportunities," you would make a killing in your own business doing what you love in a legitimate business. Check out the two websites below that work with entrepreneurs and you may end up saving more in taxes than you could possibly make from a CashCrate or other home based thingie that makes everyone rich (except you). The key is to get legal with a business and give it your all.

it is not a scam- i have earned from $10-$30 a month by devoting about 1-5 hours. check out my profile for other sites that are free and pay monthly. by joining more than one you can pick the easiest surveys to do.

Well i signed up for cashcrate but I haven't done any of their surveys so far.

The company, I am using it Fusion Cash, because a good friend of mine referred me to it, i didn't start the surveys at first but i wanted to do more research, but when i started i got $80 in 3 hours and then i waited to see if they were forreal about giving me my cashout, i was approved and now i'm i added $30 more to my account w/ referrals.
if ur interested, go to: vhttp://www.fusioncash.net/?ref=mizzkarlene
Plus they give you $5 for signing up.

Cashcrate, Treasure Tropper or Fusion aren't a scam, because ppl actually have proff to back it up (i.e checks)

But be carefully about any company that required you to pay up, in order to use their services..
