Literally it can be a window made of paper. Think Japanese. This is a haiku so....

The only way to look outside without opening a door or a window is through a hole....but it should not be there. A hole is damage and should be fixed. But you would miss out on the Galaxy....and you'd not want to miss that.

It is a pretty deep poem.
