I would reccomend a water based (not oil based) moisturizer. Personally, Proactiv's moisturizer works well for me. It has the added benefit of containing benzoyl peroxide- to help control breakouts. Also- if you're constantly washing your face to try to keep it cleaner: don't. It doesn't help, and may contribute to more breakouts and flaky skin. The bottom line is: talk to your dermatologist. They've heard all of this stuff at least 1000 times. They have the added bonus of being your doctor, and they know of any side effects your acne meds may have. Good luck!

you're washing the organic oils and moisture off your face. Thats why it feels dry. Get face wash for mixture pores and skin and get a moisturizer for mixture pores and skin. that ought to assist with the dryness. Use a sprint cooler water, luke heat, as properly. warm water will dry your face out worse.

Use Cetaphil lotion on your face. It is non comedogenic, and will not irritate or harm your skin at all. It is specially formulated to not cause acne, and it will definitely help with the dryness. Make sure to put it on with in the first 3 mintues of getting out of the shower or washing your face to lock in the moisture. :)

I had the same problem. Do not put any kind of body lotion on your face. I tried that and my face broke out. I started using Almay products. I love their makeup and now i use the face cleanser and moisturizer and it works wonders. you should give it a try!! oh, try to drink more water. Good luck

im sorry. that really sucks. i had that problem for a while. i use ponds face lotion. works pretty well. dont EVER use regular lotin. it only adds to the number of break outs, well for me anyway. also, drink a lot more water and you might wanna try sum fish oil vitamins and vitamin E. they're nasty at first, but ya get used to them. just keep some food near buy to get rid of the nasty taste. it all works tho.
