I think you should break up with your boyfriend, forget about the other guy, and just be single for awhile. It seems like this little incident with the other guy means that you are needy. If you're boyfriend isn't around, you need to automatically have someone else around.
It's not that it was the "wrong" thing to do, but it just wasn't very wise.
Don't think of being "even" now with your boyfriend. He cheats, so you can cheat? Then one day something else happens, so then you do something back? So you continually rack up all these bad things that even yourselves out?
And what about this other guy? Doesn't he know you have a boyfriend?
I think you're confused.
Chill out. Be single. Leave guys alone. Don't get caught up in your hormones. Let the dust settle, then you'll be fresh for a better situation.

You said two things that you need to think about...1. you went out w/ this other guy because you were angry and hurt...2. the guy said he really likes you. You never said you went out with him because you liked him. Your boyfriend cheated on you. This tells you that he doesn't value you and didn't consider how it would hurt you. Do you really think now things will be better? You teach people how to treat you. Taking him back just shows him that you'll allow him to get away with it. Doing the same thing yourself doesn't make things even, it cheapens you. If you want to try to start over with someone new, do it because they make you feel special and you believe they'll treat you well. Believe me when I say that dating a friend of an ex almost never turns out well.

I think you shouldn't be in a relationship. Cheating on someone because they cheated on you is just sad. It gives the cheater justification, since, turns out, you're just as bad as he is. You definitely at least shouldn't be in this relationship, and probably put of serious dating for a while. Take some time write your memoirs or something.
And as far as whether you and your boyfriend are even, yeah, you're even, you're both jerks. If someone cheats on you, your only options are forgive him or dump him. And the boyfriend's friend is disloyal to you both.

I believe u have an answer in you. If you don't, go to a garden or sea, listening to your inner heart.
It's is very wrong to date a guy when u have a boyfriend. He is in the wrong too. Sit down & talk, see if he does have the feeling for you & u have to decide is he really meant for you.
The suitable one who will loves u as the way he loves himself.
Good luck.

Well if your boyfriend was cheating on you and you cheated on him just to get back then someone would say that you r even. Im not someone... If he cheated on you then he isnt worth it. You are to good. Just move on girl. If you like him (and you didnt just go out with him to get back at your boyfriend) and he likes you, i would give him a chance.

your boyfriend cheated on you. Break up with him. Get another boyfriend. Simple
Why feel guilt about beeing unsloyal to some moron who was unloyal to you?
Remember the rule here. I think some christian principle is involved here....
if some one slaps your right cheek, turn back around and shatter his jaw with your fist.

you just acted out cos you felt hurt about what your bofriend did to you. i think you should break it off with your boyfriend. he cheated on you for crying out loud! he hurt you! you shouldnt let him walk all over you and let him get away with it. break it off with him so he knows what he did was wrong. when thats all done, start dating the other guy.
