Hellz No! If you are calling it a stalker, why would you go to counseling with it? Counseling is for people who want to better understand each other and work out the kinks, is this what you want with the stalker? If it is, go to counseling. If it isn't avoid all contact. Avoiding calls and questions and visits isn't that hard. If you're fighting with someone, you must still care about them.

If it's really a stalker, don't fool around fighting. Get a restraining order and call the cops if he/she violates it or anything is not right with your home or car. Fighting just encourages these weirdos, unless you mean physically protecting yourself. If you want to go to counseling, most likely you have a relationship and are doing something to encourage your "stalker".

if you have a stalker you should probably get away from him and especially if your calling him that there is no way in hell counseling will help!

If you are truly being staked get a restraining order. Do not waste your time going to counseling with someone who is stalking you.
