Try warm milk, eating peanut butter. Take a warm bath (not hot, that will energize you)

Good Luck

Talk to your dr if this continues because you can take Unisom - you need to talk to your dr before doing this.

This is terrible, most times you get more tired during pregnancy but you poor thing have the opposite, I think you should go to your GP and tell him you need sleep and the doctor should be able to give you some sleeping pills that is safe to take while pregnant. If you have already tried many things then this may be the only thing you can do to finally get some rest.

Good luck with the sleep.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

the previous answers all seem like good options to relax, but once you actually are in bed I have a method that usually works for helping me get to sleep .......

try to keep your mind as blank as possible,
then slowly & silently count backwards from
100 to 0, taking slow deep breaths as you count.
I normally fall asleep before I reach 0,
but if I've really had a stressful day it
sometimes takes 2-3 cycles of 100 - 0
before I nod off.

Hope this helps you get some ZZZZZZZ's

Take a nice, hot shower or bath using Dove calming night body wash, and follow up with the lotion. After the shower you should try having your feet rubbed, and just letting your eyes rest.

Try a warm hot chocolate made with milk. That used to always put me to sleep. Also lavender is a relaxing smell. They sell a lavender mist for your pillows try spraying some of that, it really does calm you. Good Luck.

I don't know if you are up for it but my suggestion is to take a Tylenol pm. it sounds kind of crazy since you are not sick, however, i know the feeling of not being able to sleep while pregnant. I took Tylenol pm one night and slept very well.
