Why would you want to be an office clerk?
Even though I don't know you, I doubt you think spending 8 hours a day couped up in an office cubbiehole passes for drinking up all that life has to offer.
Here's a bit of advice ... persistance will get you a surprisingly high percentage of what you want. Just because an office clerk job is easy to get, that doesn't mean you should settle ...
I am guilty of poorly choosing what I persistently go for ... had I used the time I dedicated towards getting a job at an airport (ironically) for something else, I could have gotten into Hollywood. If you want to be an actor/actress, don't not try just because it isn't likely to happen ... Say to yourself, I am going to become an actor/actress no matter what. It may take me 3 and a half years to accomplish, but the day I get my first role, I will feel like I have really lived my life. And that makes the time invested worth it.
Just be sure to not make the same mistake I did ... be sure that what you are dedicating your time to is worth your time. I don't want to buy a gallon of milk from you at the supermarket in six months ... unless of course, being a cashier gives you absolute meaning in life. (I doubt that very much)
In conclusion, don't become an office clerk at an airport. Everyday you'll have to watch people happily going off on their vacations, weddings, important business ventures, ... That is depressing because you are always there and never seem to be the one going anywhere. And then, in twenty-five years, you'll have a baloon & cake party celebrating the 3 decades you've given to the airport. You may have some kids ... you may even own a small modest house ... but picture that day, the day you will be working towards ...
Is that what you want to do with your one second of existance in this thing called life?
Don't do it! Figure out what will make you happy, what will allow you to die with a smile on your face, and let nothing stop you from accomplishing it, namely, YOURSELF!

Will this help you reach your financial goals? Here's the reality of employment: companies can only pay you 1) less than they make from having you as an employee, over an average period of time, 2) relative to how much it costs them to find someone else to do the same job.
The first thing you need to do is determine what you want. You don't know what you need to do to achieve it, but you have to know what you want. Then you'll be able to create solutions to achieving those goals. If you can figure out how to get someone pay you for what you love to do, then you'll probably be really happy in work. Also, if you can follow the money and position yourself there to make an impact in that equation. Good luck.
