Pantyhose aren't the answer. The best stomach and hip slimmer is a girdle. I wear a semi-sheer everyday one from Hanes that comes in black or nude, and for extra-strength occasions Flexees are the most comfortable and do the best job. The Hanes are about $13.00 a pair, and I have yet to replace one. Flexees are about $30.00. You can find them at department stores like Macy's and JCPenney.

Control top panty hose will do a little good for your gut, but I'm not sure they really make your hips look slimmer, after all your hip's width is determined by your bone structure and panty hose can't do anything about that.

Control top can help with the tummy. However, leave the hips as they are. Without hips there is no figure...no feminine curves. Honestly, without hips, it makes you look like a boy.
Pantyhose still have many more benefits besides the tummy. It smoothes out and accentuates your legs. It adds a big touch of class to a formal outfit. It can help tired legs if you're on your feet for a long time during the day (or night).

Yes, a nice control top pantyhose will make you look slimmer. As far as brands go I love Leggs control top pantyhose.

Yep, but your best bet would be to go and get a girdle or something like a body stocking. If not, go with a support hose, that is the best.

the only time I positioned on knee severe panty hose is while the crotch of my pantyhose has inched it quite is thank you to my knee's and that i'm in too public of a niche to bend over and hike the freaking issues back up! perhaps i will substitute my thoughts while i'm 50 and basically shrink the legs off of them!

Control top defintely helps hold the tummy in and I find it seems to make extra tight clothing sit better if you have it on underneath.
