NO, you absolutely will start your period 14-16 days after you ovulate (unless pregnant ). you can only get pregnant during ovulation. The ovulation phase lasts approximately 48 hrs. If you have started your period, it means that ovulation was about 2 weeks ago, and that the time when you could get pregnant was over with at least 12 days ago. In other words if you started your period a day or 2 after this event, the time you could get pregnant has been past by almost 2 weeks. The only exception to this is generally during menopause when women experience confused hormones. Do not worry, but be more careful in the future.

I started my period the day after I concieved.. it only lasted for two days which is very rare for me. Some women still have periods during pregnancy which doesnt make any sense to me but I read it somewhere. You could very well get/be pregnant.

no-it is not possible to get pregnant on your period. But how do you know if it's your period or if it is breakthrough or irregular bleeding in the middle of your cycle? This can happen and pregnancies can occur. Protect yourself always anyway. STD's are everywhere.
