You will need plumber's putty.
A pretty straightforward job.
If your dishwasher has a hose going to the disposer, be sure to remove the blanking slug in that connection before you hook the hose up, the disposers are made to work with or without a dishwasher attached.

Somewhere in the middle. You must hook it to the bottom of the sink, connect the drain lines, and wire it.

easy.....it only takes a few minutes.literally..it unscrews ;the whole unit does only about 15degrees and it falls right off ...of course you must wrench off the existing drain piping; thats easy too
