Can you determine the order of the five potions (Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Death) by using the clues?

Alex the Wizard was a great and powerful magician in the town of Magikville.

He lived peacefully except for one problem - Barry the Sorcerer, his archenemy.

He decided one day that he had to kill Barry with his most powerful spell, for Barry had killed his friend.

There was one problem though, this spell required potions to be mixed in a certain order, and Alex had forgotten the order!

He could only remember a few things about the order, and if he messed up the order Alex would be killed.

Can you determine the order of the five potions (Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Death) by using the clues?

1. The death potion was not first.
2. The red potion was before the yellow potion.
3. The green potion was not before the death potion but it was before the yellow potion.
4. The blue potion was second to be mixed in.

It will help you a lot if you use a table in this problem!!

Death was not first (clue 1).
Yellow was not first (clue2: red before yellow).
Green was not first (clue 3: green not before death).
Blue was not first (clue 4: blue was second).

RED WAS FIRST, by elimination of the others.
BLUE WAS SECOND (clue 4).

Yellow was not third because green would have had to be 1st or 2nd (clue 3: death, green, yellow).

Green was not third because death would have had to be 1st or second (clue 3: death, green, yellow).

DEATH WAS THIRD, by elimination of the others.

Yellow was not fourth, because green would have had to be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (clue 3: death, green, yellow).

GREEN WAS FOURTH, by elimination of the others.
YELLOW WAS FIFTH, as only remaining unplaced color.

I would say it is Red Blue Death Green Yellow

I say this because....If you Start with number one...put Death in the table....Then jump to number three.. u know the green is after the Death so you put it after Death. Seeing that it was before yellow....add a yellow to ur table. Now you should have the order of Death, Green, then yellow. Jump to number 4. BLue is second...therefore you know it has to go before death. SImple facts....and Red comes before yellow.....so it goes first. Because previously we put green before yellow, and the death before that.

Its really simple if u make a table.
