I would never change my past. The agony, the tears, the bitter sadness - all contributed to the genesis of my current reality. I could not give up my beloved current reality for some other life. I know not how a change to my past would affect the entire world.
If I undid my first love's suicide I don't know if it would have "stuck" nor if in the end anyone would have been any happier. I likely would never have met my husband. More importantly, I have saved three (possibly four) lives since then that I would not have been properly located to save had my first love lived. Do those three (or four) people who all wanted to live deserve life?
If I undid my assault at the hands of brutal men again, my place in time may not have crossed those lives. Also, I may have remained less deep, more spoiled, and while stronger of body weaker of spirit. The fire hardens.
If I undid my Mother's death... again, I do not know but I feel there would have been a shifting of the world which might cost others what I saved myself.
If I undid the tragedy of 9/11 - I can't begin to imagine what lives would change, how many people I'd unmake or make not themselves. I don't think I have the right to decide for every living thing that it should not be what it is.
The past brought us here, it stands as it is. I can't say I never think of what might have been but I know I can celebrate what is. What is and what may be is too precious to hold against what ifs.
Regarding going into the future and changing things - that is called living. Do it boldly, if you make mistakes don't grieve them but move on. Change the future.

I am going to answer your very serious question.
I think what I am now is the result of the events in the past and if there will be no change NOW, my life now will still be the same in the future.
I think I don't need to go anywhere I can do the change NOW to have a different life now 'cause now is my future.

The whole premise puzzles me. We couldn't do either one. So why think about it? Even if it were possible (!) to change an event in the future, how would we know what the consequences would be? In the same way, if we changed something in the past, everything else would change as well. Perhaps I took your question too seriously! If so, sorry!

I'ld rather stay right here in the present and live life as it happens. That's the way it was meant to be. Then things generations down the line aren't messed up. If you changed something in the past or the future then the present wouldn't be as it is. If one thing is changed .... then all things are changed.

I think you will find that the older a person is the more they would change the past. The younger person doesn't have that much past to change but a big future is coming up. I prefer to remind my self that every thought I think is creating my future.

I will go neither to future or the past. No need, if I can take care of the present properly and introspect by my past so that what mistakes or follies done in the past are not repeated, future will take its own care. Hence, its better to live in the present rather than in a dream world. In the present lies the felicity.

nicely in a fashion sure, besides the indisputable fact that it's not that easy. There are countless opportunities for the destiny, all of which exist as achievable outcomes of the present. They exist yet are not area of certainty until eventually the present reaches them. of direction then you quite've the question of while precisely does the present ensue; while is now? you may positioned up this interior the philosophy area, you will get many extra considerate solutions than on R&S.

The future is unwritten. How would you know if you changed it? For this reason, I would rather change the past. At least that can be quantified.

I would certainly like to go in the past. I'm 70 years old. I'd say my future is somewhat limited.
