Woody Harrelson begins the song, then the scene fades into the next with a new guy singing the song. Does anyone know who it could possibly be?

According to the movie track listing it was written by Ron Shelton and Woody Harrelson. Therefore should have nothing to do with The Doors, Laura Branigan or Van Morrison.

Laura Branigan came out with the song "Gloria" in the early 80s. I've never seen the movie "White Men Can't Jump" ,but this song has been in several movies and tv shows.
Check the link before for song lyrics.

The character Gloria sings a Ray Charles song, Careless Love. Maybe that is what you are thinking? An addition here, I Can't Stop Loving You, also Ray Charles?
