what does the button on the calculator look like.....i used to know and i lost the manual...and it would take forver to do it the other way...

[x^y] on most calculators
enter base number
press[x^y]
enter exponent
press[=]

on most calculators, they have a ^ button... after the ^ , you just put whatever number you want it to the power of.. for example, if you want 2 squared, you would enter 2 ^ 2 ... hope this helps! =)

look for the button X^y.

the procedure would be something like 2 X^y 3 = 8 (2^3)

To put a number to a certain power, you press the button that says ee then type in the power

mostly there is a button named "x^y"
use that one.
