I see what you're saying, but I honestly don't think he's going anywhere as long as Indy keeps making the playoffs. I really don't see the Colts firing the coach of a perennial winning team.

Tony Dungy is a nice guy. The kind of guy you would want to have dinner with, hang out with. But he just can't win the BIG games.
It irritated me when people were angry when Gruden and the Buccaneer's won the Super Bowl the first year Dungy left. They said with sour grapes, Oh well, Gruden won with Dungy's guys. Yeah, well how come Dungy couldn't win with Dungy's guys?
Peyton Manning can't win the big games either, they are made for each other.
I think Dungy can stay in Indy for a long time, unless they just totally fall apart. Winning isn't really a necessity in Indy as much as the bigger markets, they give you a little more leeway.
I know Dungy's son tied tragically, understood. We all felt bad for him. But why didn't his team show up when they let Pittsburgh spank them in their dome last year? Shouldn't his troops rallied and kicked butt? Instead they were embarrased and played like they ingested sleeping tablets.
Dungy is a very nice man, maybe thats part of the problem? He may lack that necessary killer instinct to get it done. But the clock still has time left, and Manning has another decade left.

Tony Dungy is my favorite...a real gentlemen. Gruden isn't doing very well in Tampa.

He has 2 or 3 more years to fish or cut bait.

I would say if he don't win the BIG one this year, they would give me another shot...Then after that...who knows.
