what the heck? do you mean arranged mariage parents look only after boys money, status, well educated (phd)? not his personality or character?

you are right only a few women 's marriage is love marriage. most of the women prefer arranged marriage as most of them are illiterate even now.educated girls expect their would be a soft ware engineer , doctor, chartered accountant or green card holder of the USA. they also expect their would be's family to be nucleus.girls who are soft ware engineers prefer men of their profession.in arranged marriages, parents don't give preference to the beauty of the boys. they prefer boys of their state, caste and religion and property only

Most women start with bare minimum expecattions like security, good caring husband and his family and a decent living. Only afterwards, the expectations grow ,may be even beyond the means of satisfying these demands that conflicts start to rear their heads.
