I've thought the same thing. It can be different things such as gas. I'm 13 weeks along and have just had my first ultrasound. My baby is moving like crazy (takes after it's father) but I now know I'm not feeling those movements. My baby is only 2 inches long, yours is less than an inch. Sadly we can't feel the baby yet because it is too deep inside us now and too tiny. They only way you'd be able to feel your baby now is if you are about 8 to 10 weeks off of your conception date. I asked my doctor when I'd feel the baby a week ago because I felt like I was having tiny bubbles. My doctor told me to wait another month and I might feel it. I'm very intune to my body so if you are anything like me, most likely you will feel it around 16 weeks, but it could be longer. If this is your first baby they say you'll probably not feel it till 18 weeks, it will feel like tiny bubbles at first. It's exciting to feel your baby move, but be somewhat thankful now because you aren't feeling those sharp kicks yet that jab you in your stomach and bladder :) Congratulations. You'll be so excited when you see your first ultrasound if you haven't already. It makes you realize that there really is a small being growing inside of you :)

Its to early to be feeling the baby move, but it could be gas.

8 weeks- This Pregnant Body

There are only 32 weeks to go! You might be feeling a little off now as your body begins adjusting to your baby growing inside of you. Fatigue and an increased appetite are among the first sensations that a newly pregnant mom-to-be experiences. The more knowledgeable you are about what is happening as you progress through your pregnancy, the more confident you will feel. Women who have experienced childbirth one or more times are also great resources for information; but remember, each pregnancy is unique. For example, some mothers will tell you of the severe morning sickness they experienced while others will have had none. Right now just be a sponge and absorb all the information and advice that you can, but be sure to decide for yourself what is best for you.

Your Baby

Your babys fluttering heart would show up on an ultrasound performed this week. He or she is between 0.56 and 0.8 inches from crown to rump - or about the size of a grape - its liver is churning out large amounts of red blood cells, and will continue to until the bone marrow forms and takes over this function. Week eight marks the beginning of a very busy developmental stage: its face continues to change as the ears, eyes and the tip of the nose appear; the intestines start to form in the umbilical cord; and your baby's teeth begin to develop under the gums.

no longer all abdomens get confusing appropriate away. Mine never truly felt confusing until eventually on the factor of the top of the being pregnant. And around 20 wks is many times (yet no longer constantly) the time once you may experience the toddler kick and so forth. It does not could ensue precisely at 20 wks, she will have the skill to probably experience it interior of here couple of wks. as long because of the fact the pulse & ultrasounds are super - which your checklist says they are - than there is no longer something to stress approximately.

Are you certain you are only 8 weeks? My guess is, that if you are only 8 weeks, you are feeling something else. I do not believe the nerve endings are solid enough in a fetus of that gestational age to move just yet. Its the size of a bean right now. But, if this is a second + pregnancy and you are sure of it, I would get a u/s. Cuz you're prolly further along than you think.

My sister thought so too when she was pregnant, but honestly the fetus isn't developed enough to be making strong enough movement for you to feel through all those layers of tissue.

It's not the baby, just gas or something.

The baby will start moving at 7 to 8 weeks but its unlikely for the mother to feel it. Id say its gas or hunger pains. Don't be scared though. If it possibly is the baby moving you should be happy its alive and kickin:)

Do you have a possiblity of having twins? If so, you could be feeling that movement, or you just have a very active baby...

Have you spoken to your O/B about this? You might want to..

Hope this will help you.

It is very likely that it be gas bubbles or something. Baby is not big enough for you too feel him/her move yet. It could also be in the mind. (Wishful thinking) Good luck with the pregnancy!
