,You should not respect anyone RATHER THAN God most. The hierarchy is God, Family, Country. Of course we should respect ourselves - otherwise, how can we respect others if we have no respect for ourselves?
I think the question was meant to ask, "Whom should we respect more OTHER THAN and not RATHER THAN".
