How can i get an acute accent or tilde on my text in MICROSOFT WORD 2003?

I need this for my spanish skit that i am writing please tell me how i can put a acute accent on my text!

In word I believe you go to "insert" "symbol"...it should take you to the Character map and you can find it from there.

For the accent type Ctrl+' and then type the letter you wanna put the accent over. For the tilde type Ctrl+Shift+~ and then the letter. The Insert Symbol stuff will work, but this way is faster.
