Classic 50s- Elvis or Buddy Holly
Classic 60s- Beatles, Rolling Stones, Creedance Clearwater Revival
Classic 70s-Three Dog Night, Tony Orlando & Dawn, Led Zeppelin

At some point or another, everyone should listen to a little: Johnny Cash, Big Head Todd, Stevie Wonder, and Van Morrison.

If you want to try a lot of different types of music, check out LaunchCast, where you can choose from every type of music, to different decades, genres, etc. It's your own radio station and you program it.
