You absolutely should sing for your mom. You'll never sing before a more loving audience than your mom. I don't know what your handicap is, but I can only imagine what an inspiration you will be to your fellow students who were too afraid to get up there. Show them your courage!

I don't know what your handicap is, but go for it! I have seen many people on stage who are not handicapped who look stupid. But stage presence is learned and acquired, and your handicap should not be an obstacle to this.

I think it's great you want to try out for the talent show. Good luck - you will do GREAT!

you won't look stupid because your handicap!
but i would definately sing to her first see what she thinks because a mother won't let her child get embaressed in front of other pepole. so she will tell you the truth on you singing and if she thinks you might need pratice in certain spots.

It wouldn't hurt, but it's best to sing in front of somebody who've VERY HONEST with you so you don't get eliminated immediately.

Somebody who may seem tough on you (somebody who's like American Idol's Simon Cowell) is probably the person who'll know how other people will think of you.

umm ***********YES>>>>>>>>> but also try out with others who will be honest with you, rem scareokie is Japanese for TONE DEAF lol j/k I'm saying get an uninhibited honest opinion, your smart enough to know who will give you this.. oh yeah n rem to vote no? n good luck. BTW challenged is not handicappeded... look I'm visually impaired... we dint use the word blind anymore
visually challenged is a challenge to be over come whereas blind is a handicapp that's for life * add your particular challenge in place of my blind/ visually impaired / * most politically correct as visually challenged~ n God bless... best wishes~
